Inspired by his family’s charitable ways, NRV Kishore Kumar was motivated to serve and help all those in need. He witnessed his grandparents and parents distributing food and helping those in need, this inspired him to get involved in charitable events ever since he was a child.
He began conducting charities at the street level during his early childhood days with his friends and then took them to the district level. They then went on to register a youth association in 1998 and began charity events that ran on their pocket money. His friends moved on with their lives, but he chose to sstick to his generous ideals.
Black belt in Karate and a trained professional dancer, Kishore Kumar has organized several cultural events and has been running charities through them. He has always been extraordinary in extracurricular activities such as Cricket, Classical Dancing, Swimming, Skating, Kho-kho and Martial Arts. This helped him secure his position in the railways, but he continued to simultaneously run his cultural activities by training students who participated in popular shows on channels such as E-TV, Gemini and so many more! The Indian Skaters Dance on Gemini TV, choreographed by him, was the first to air in India on Gemini TV. He had also actively participated in the Swachh Bharat, energy conservation celebrations.
Playing a crucial role at work, he has never compromised on his charities due to his work priorities. He conducted charities during weekends and his services were recognized by his seniors who fully supported and backed him through all his endeavors. Taking his charities and initiatives to every state in the country, he has been applauded and appreciated by Central Ministers, Chief Minister, Lok Sabha Speaker, Governor, Chairman of Railway Board, Judges, Ministers, Vice Chancellor, State Ministers, IAS, IPS, GM’s PHODS, HOD of Railways, MPs, MLAs, etc. and all Media Channels, Newspapers and other organizations as well. He has been recognized by leading newspapers, news channels and has been the recipient of several awards and laurels. Through this foundation, he has extended his services during natural calamities like earthquakes at Bhuj, Hudhud cyclone, Kerala floods and Hyderabad floods. Through the foundation, Kishore has also been recognized as a volunteer at various prestigious hospitals such as the Indo-American Cancer Institute & Research Centre and Omega Hospitals.
In his early years, he organized blood donation camps, provided food, distributed bedsheets and blankets by saving his own pocket money. Aspiring to serve mankind through charity, he founded the Mother Theresa Welfare Foundation of India and intended to follow in the footsteps rendered by Mother Teresa. Working without any donations, the foundation has been functioning on its personal charity. An avid dance enthusiast, he has been raising funds for the charity by conducting dance classes and organizing cultural events.
Kishore Kumar established the Mother Theresa Welfare Foundation of India, a non-profitable organization that works with a sole motive to put an end to poverty and misery in the world. Established in 1994, the organization caters to the needs of the poor, orphans, elderly, disabled, cancer patients and everyone in need. Seeking inspiration from its patron, Mother Teresa, the foundation is a selfless form of her services.
Through this charity, NRV Kishore Kumar has been conducting charities for 26 years without any donations or even maintaining a bank account. It has been aiding the treatment of Cancer Patients for the past 13 years. Utilizing his expertise in Dancing, Martial Arts, Cricket, Skating and several other Cultural and Sports activities, he decided to redirect his talents in the most unique way possible. Training students in Swimming, Dancing, Skating and all other such activities, he utilized his rewards and instead of using the money on himself, he decided to conduct charities with the money he earned. He then went on to establish a charity that works without any donations and formed the Mother Theresa Welfare Foundation of India.
The Mother Theresa Welfare Foundation of India is a driving force in changing the world through charity and has conducted charities in every Indian state and district of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Extending its services to all those in need, it has provided Meals, conducted Awareness Campaigns, Distributed Books, Clothes, Bed Sheets, Mats and Blankets, provided Grocery, organized Medical Camps and helped all those in need through its charitable services.
