COVID-19 Awareness Camps
The COVID-19 pandemic was a major trial and the Mother Theresa Welfare Foundation of India stood out with its relentless services during this period. Turning the world upside down the pandemic left several people around the world jobless, homeless and in major worries. The fear of contacting the coronavirus had driven everyone inside their homes, but the Foundation’s heroic volunteers braved all these fears and stepped out to help all those in difficulty.
The organization has conducted charities in every district of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Spreading awareness about the COVID-19 disease, it has organized several COVID Awareness Camps and distributed masks and sanitizers in rural areas. It has successfully completed 240 days of service by distributing over 2,41,700 food packets and 68,650kgs groceries across the country during this pandemic. It has aided the free treatment of 124 COVID positive patients by funding their medical treatment and provided free medical treatment to several home quarantined patients.
