India’s first charitable organization that works without any donations, Mother Teresa Welfare Foundation of India, has been running successfully for over 26 years.
- The organization has been providing free medicines to patients with chronic diseases and arranging meals in rural areas of the country.
- It has been successfully providing free education to the poor for the last 18 years.
- It has provided free food to 20,800 people, clothes to 1945 and bedsheets and blankets to 1700 people throughout Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
- Overcoming all challenges, it has remarkably outshone with over 200 days of exceptional services and charities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
- It has organized several COVID Awareness camps and distributed masks and sanitizers in rural areas of the country.
- During this period, it has distributed over 1,90,400 food packets and 58,650kgs groceries across the country during this pandemic.
- It has aided the free treatment of 104 COVID positive patients by funding their medical treatment and has provided free medical treatment to several home quarantined patients.
- It has aided the victims of Bhuj earthquake, Hud-Hud cyclone, Kerala floods with basic necessities like food, grocery, clothes, etc.
- It has been conducting non-stop 150 days service on Sundays from 1st January 2017 till date.
- It has distributed books to 11450 orphans in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
- It has organized medical camps for orphans and people in rural areas and provided free medicines to 15,100 people in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
